Dennis Bartolomeo is an architect based in Japan with a background spanning architecture, construction, hospitality, and retail development. Educated in the United States and Spain, his early interests in art, furniture fabrication, and construction established the foundation for a career shaped by both creative vision and technical execution. Over the course of his career, Dennis has lived and worked across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, contributing to residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury retail projects for globally recognized companies including Foster + Partners, Banyan Tree, Hermès, Apple, and Ralph Lauren. In executive leadership roles, he directed multidisciplinary design and construction teams across numerous countries, overseeing complex projects from concept through completion. This experience ultimately led to the founding of Bartolomeo Design, where he combines international design sensibilities with local building knowledge to create refined, enduring spaces deeply connected to their environment and context.

Originally from Japan, Naoko brings a global perspective to the firm with over 20 years of experience in the international design and lifestyle industries. Having lived and worked in New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo, she has developed a deep understanding of how to bring creative visions to life across diverse cultures. With a background in Interior Design from San Francisco State University, Naoko has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between creative concepts and real-world execution. She has held pivotal roles at world-renowned brands, where her experience ranged from managing custom furniture for high-end hospitality projects in the U.S. to helping build the furniture brand Stellar Works from the ground up. Most recently, at leading Danish textile company Kvadrat, she drove strategic growth through consulting with top-tier furniture manufacturers. As a Partner, Naoko oversees the firm’s strategic direction, material and FF&E procurement, and hospitality development. Leveraging her bilingual communication and cross-cultural negotiation skills, she ensures that every architectural concept is translated into a seamless business reality.
